Don't miss the Elmwood Murdock One -Act version of the play Godspell
I was lucky enough to attend a dress rehearsal last week and the talent we have is unprecedented. Many people may remember this play from the 1970's may have probably performed in the play.
The musical is structured as a series of parables, primarily based on the Gospel of Matthew. However, four of the featured parables are only recorded in the Gospel of Luke, and the narrative of the woman taken in adultery is only in the Gospel of John. The parables are interspersed with music set primarily to lyrics from traditional hymns, with the passion of Christ appearing briefly near the end of the show.
ECNC Honor Choir The concert was Tuesday, November 6th at Auburn High School.
Soprano Molly Feile was chosen as the only soloist for her voice part.
Back row l to r Spencer Koehn, Ethan Clements, Noah Arent, Abraham Vidaurre, Gus Pope. Front row Tessa Robertson, Sophie Frank, Rylee Hogue, Molly Feile, Maggie Richter, Katie Hanson, Kate Zakaras
