==============================
So sorry to report that John and Debra McNaught lost their home in a fire Tuesday night. Everyone made it out safely but it looks like it is a total loss. A fund has been set up at the American Exchange Bank for people wishing to help out. Donations can be made at the American Exchange Bank in Elmwood or Eagle.

Message to the Elmwood Murdock Knights Basketball Fans From a Winnebago Fan
I received this message in an email from a Winnebago fan and knew that I had to share it with you. Before I did I took a minute to Google the man who emailed me. Mr. Morgan is the CEO of Ho-Chunk, Inc. which is a development company in Winnebago and Sioux City. I encourage you to read this article about Mr. Morgan. Click here to see the article. He is doing great things.
"As a fan of Winnebago I was greatly disappointed to the lose the game to Elmwood-Murdock. The success of the Winnebago team has meant so much to our community and our boys were feeling that pressure. After a tough game Elmwood won and we lost. Our boys were very emotional about the whole thing and were shedding tears after the game and I couldn’t help but notice the wonderful display of sportsmanship by the Elmwood-Murdock fans who noticed their pain and then gave our boys a nice standing ovation as they left the court. It was much appreciated." Lance Morgan
Congratulations, 2016-2017 Elmwood Murdock Spirit Squad!
