The Elmwood Murdock Merchants Association (EMMA) is an organization for the merchants, business leaders, and interested citizens of the Elmwood and Murdock communities.  EMMA promotes businesses and community development opportunities.  EMMA sponsors two big events in the area.  In the summer the event is Murdock 4th of July Celebration and in the fall the event is the Elmwood Holiday Extravaganza.  EMMA also sponsors the Good Neighbor Award.  Those nominated for the Good Neighbor Award are honored during the Murdock 4th of July Celebration and are invited to ride on the EMMA float.
