Village of Elmwood

The Village of Elmwood Board of Trustees met in regular session with Trustees Ronhovde, Clements, Wilhelm, Allgayer and Chairman Ernst presiding. All signed the “Notice of Acknowledgement of Meeting”. Chairman Ernst declared the Open Meeting Act Posted. Ed Blunt and Becky vonRentzell were also in attendance.
Minutes from the meeting on 12/1/11 were presented. Motioned to approve the minutes as presented.
Reports
Streets: Blunt reported rock chips he uses to spread on the icy streets were delivered to the Maintenance Building. Blunt also reported the stop sign on 3rd and F Streets has been repaired. No Action Taken.
Park: No Action Taken.
Library: The vestibule lights have not been working, an electrician may need to be contacted.
Water: Blunt reported he ordered a new hour meter.
Sewer: Blunt reported some frozen pipes at the WWTF. He requested sending a letter to JEO regarding items that need repaired.
Comp & Zoning: No Action Taken.
Planning Committee: No Action Taken.
Special Events: Allgayer reported the Special Events committee has $3,209.50 in its account. No Action Taken.

Unfinished Business: Deb and John Mumford’s torte claim was settled by the Village’s Insurance Company.

Building Permits: Kent Zoz- requested a building permit to build a new garage. Tabled until further information is available.
