VILLAGE OF ELMWOOD
Conditional Use Permit Hearing – August 4, 2014
The Village of Elmwood Board of Trustees met in a Special Hearing Session with Trustees Allgayer, Clements, Ernst, Wray, and Chairman Wilhelm presiding. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. All signed the “Notice of Acknowledgement of Meeting”. Chairman Wilhelm declared the “Open Meeting Act” posted. Visitors present: Julie Hohman, Mark Hohman, Tammy Brummer, Lindsey Bornemeier, Chadd Bornemeier, Matt Stewart, Kristy Burrows, Tara Guy, Gretchen Reinke, Sharon & Dean Zimmerman, Cody Price, Chris Vogt, Eugenia Bornemeier, Jake and Jessie Wilson, Jacob Blunt, Murray Fletcher, Ashley & Ethan Homan, Tifanie Vogt, Ed Blunt, and Connie Carlton.
The Board of Trustees heard comments from visitors regarding their support of the daycare.
The Trustees expressed support of business in our community.
Motion by Clements to exit the hearing at 7:15 p.m.; second by Ernst. RCV: Clements: Yes, Wray: Yes, Ernst: Yes, Allgayer: Yes, Wilhelm: Yes. Motion carried.
Motion by Allgayer to approve the Conditional Use Permit for the operation of a daycare at 101 East D Street; second by Wray; third by Clements. RCV: Allgayer: Yes, Clements: Yes, Wray: Yes, Ernst: Yes, Wilhelm: Yes. Motion carried.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:18 p.m.
