Elmwood Village Board of Trustees
The Elmwood Village Board of Trustees consists of five Trustee positions filled by Elmwood residents elected or in some cases appointed after an unexpected vacancy. This election year there are three open Trustee positions. Dave Ernst and Andy Clements will be leaving the Board. Curt Wilhelm will remain as the Chairman and Pat Wray is a newly appointed Trustee replacing Grace Ronhovde. Lou Allgayer is running for re-election to the Board.
Surprisingly there are eight candidates who have entered the race to fill the vacancies. Some may be familiar to you and some may not. I didn’t recognize some names so I thought it would be a good idea to get to know them. I’ve contacted the candidates to find out information about them and will be publishing it in the newsletter in the future. The election is in November so we have time to get to know our candidates. If you are a frequent reader of the newsletter you may recognize one name.
