EM Students Receive NSAA Academic All State Awards
Each year the Nebraska School Activities Association and the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association recognize students who have been nominated by their schools for their individual academic excellence, leadership and significant contributions in their NSAA activity. Up to two students may be nominated for each NSAA-sponsored activity. For the 2014 Fall Season, these EM students received NSAAA Academic All State Awards. Congratulations to all of the winners!

This is my son, Joe, with Mr. Friedrich, the Elementary School principal. Mr. Friedrich was the first person I talked to when we were getting ready to move to Elmwood. He was so nice and has always been very supportive of us. He is an awesome principal!

Christmas Lights in Elmwood
There are quite a few really nice exhibits in Elmwood as always. You won't see it at my house but many others have put out the effort. It is worth the drive around town to look at the lights.
Ed and Linda Blunt have a beautiful exhibit of lights. You have to go down on Railroad Avenue to see them!
Adam and Darah Offner go all out with their Christmas lights. Even the backyard is decorated!
The really great thing about this exhibit is not only is it very pretty but Bill Connour also plays Christmas music over a loud speaker. Love to go by this one.

Red Cedar Lounge has Skating for the Kiddos on Break
Next Skating Date: Friday, January 2nd
Taking a break from skating and having some girl time.
Shay and Jordyn were teaching their little brother how to skate.
We had some face painting fun, too.
Rod Meier, owner of the Red Cedar Lounge, had a great time with the kids. He was teaching the boys how to play darts.
Rod enjoyed running the games for the kids.
