Merry Christmas Elmwood

Bess Streeter Aldrich House

Every year the Bess Streeter Aldrich House is transformed into a wonderful Journey into Christmas

The stockings are hung by the chimney with care.

Mrs. Aldrich would be very pleased with the results and how her home is still hosting visitors. 

All over town is signs of Christmas. I found this cute little snowman at the American Exchange Bank.

Living Nativity Local Tradition

This year it is a drive-through experience, complete with a podcast telling the story of Jesus' birth.

Learn through the animals how they participate, are mentioned in the Bible, and reflect God's creation.

The 3B Homestead Living Nativity is the only event of it's kind in Nebraska, people drive in from all over the state to experience this unique event.

 Take It Or Leave It Pantry

The free pantry is here to serve our community. It is for neighbors helping neighbors. Take what you need or leave what you can.

Here are some ideas that may be useful:

• Pasta
• Spaghetti sauce
• Canned soup
• Granola bars and snacks
• Fruit snacks
• Dry soup mixes
• Canned meat (chicken, tuna etc)
• Boxed prepared meal kits (hamburger helper etc)

The Little Free Pantry is located between Hufstader Chiropractor, the Elmwood Meat Market, and the Village Hall.
