Did you hear it is Mexican themed night? They will be selling nachos, loaded nachos, guacamole, chips, and salsa, and pulled pork sandwiches or nachos.... AND Margaritas!!!
No outside drinks are allowed but you can bring your own snacks.

This event is almost sold out.

Let's help the Elmwood Community Center get a new refrigerator!! And let's have us some fun!!

It's time to start planning your strategy for the Elmwood Holiday Extravaganza!
Seriously this is the biggest and best event in Elmwood. Friends and family come from all over to experience the start of small-town friendliness and hospitality in Nebraska.

It's our time to shine. The Elmwood-Murdock Merchants Association has planned a day that has something for everyone. Make sure to invite your friends. As I get more information I will update this section throughout the month.

Village Board Meeting
Board meetings are open to the public and are held every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month.
The meetings are held at the new Village Board office located at the Learning Center on the south side of town.
Official agendas are posted the day before at the Post Office, Gas Station, and Village Office. Prior to the posting of the agenda, meeting items can be added to the meeting. At the end of each meeting is a Public Comment Section. Attendees have three minutes to speak about anything at this time. Further discussion on the topic can then be added to the next board meeting.
The agenda is posted at the Elmwood C-Store, the post office, and the Village office.
Minutes can be viewed at the Village office or can be found online.

Wouldn't it be amazing if the board meetings were FULL every time? This is your opportunity to be involved, be "in the know" and learn how to influence how your community grows, how improvements can be made, and how you can participate in the steps needed to MAKE IT HAPPEN.

Cass County GOP to Host Republican Gubernatorial Town Hall Debate on November 13
WEEPING WATER, Nebraska – The Cass County GOP today announced it will host a Republican gubernatorial town hall debate on Saturday, November 13, 2021, from 5 to 7 PM at the Cass County Fairgrounds in Weeping Water, Neb., and invites the public to attend.
Three of the five declared Republican gubernatorial candidates – Michael Connely, Brett Lindstrom, and Breland Ridenour – are confirmed participants. Candidates Jim Pillen and Charles Herbster are unable to attend.
Theresa Thibodeau, who is still “strongly considering” entering the race, stated if she decides to declare her candidacy before the debate, she will participate in the event.
“This event is for the people of Nebraska to have the opportunity to meet the candidates and have a real conversation with them,” said Tracy Zeorian, Chairman of the Cass County GOP. “Nebraska and our country are at a crossroads and we need a strong leader who is ready and willing to tackle the big issues head-on.”
The moderated town hall debate format enables candidates to answer questions posed directly from constituents. Anyone is welcome to submit a question, which must be submitted by November 10, 2021, to cass4gop@gmail.com for vetting.
The free event will also be streamed live on www.cass4gop.com.
The 2022 Nebraska gubernatorial primary election, which will decide the Republican Party candidate, will take place on May 10, 2022. The general election will take place on November 8, 2022.
