This week our Student of the Week Winner is Brooke Goudie.
She is a senior at Louisville High School. Her activities include volleyball, basketball, track, FBLA, and student council. Her parents are Rich and Pam Goudie.
She was nominated for these reasons:
She consistently displays a positive attitude and encourages others to do the same
She takes initiative and leads by example both in and out of the classroom
She shows strong leadership skills and represents our school with pride
She demonstrates outstanding academic achievement through hard work and dedication

ELMWOOD-MURDOCK PUBLIC SCHOOLS
IS ADVERTISING FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS:
SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVERS / ACTIVITY BUS DRIVERS
The school district will pay the costs associated with you obtaining the required CDL with a school bus and passenger bus permit, and will pay for all classes associated with driving a school bus, as long as you complete all requirements. The school district will also pay an hourly wage for the time associated with obtaining your CDL. Payment will take place after a designated amount of time driving for the school district.

looking to hire TWO additional staff members to support our students and
teachers).
Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour

Public Notices for Elmwood Nebraska, can now be viewed online at Voice News Nebraska
Elmwood Village Board Meetings are ONCE a month on the FIRST Wednesday of every month.
The meetings are held at the new Village Board office located at the Learning Center on the south side of town.
Official agendas are posted the day before at the Post Office, Gas Station, and Village Office. Prior to the posting of the agenda, meeting items can be added to the meeting. At the end of each meeting is a Public Comment Section. Attendees have three minutes to speak about anything at this time. Further discussion on the topic can then be added to the next board meeting.
The agenda is posted at the Elmwood C-Store, the post office, and the Village office.
Minutes can be viewed at the Village office or can be found online.
Wouldn't it be amazing if the board meetings were FULL every time? This is your opportunity to be involved, be "in the know" and learn how to influence how your community grows, how improvements can be made, and how you can participate in the steps needed to MAKE IT HAPPEN.
