3B Homestead 10th Annual, Living Nativity

Musicians have become a tradition. I forget how long I have played the piano there, but it's something I look forward to every year. This year the Trinity Murdock youth group donated a full-size professional keyboard. It is absolutely beautiful and sounds amazing.

WILLIAM FOX
ELMWOOD MURDOCK HIGH SCHOOL

This week our Student of the Week Winner is William Fox. He is a senior at Elmwood Murdock High School. His activities include play production, speech, and LifeSmarts. His mother is Theresa Robinson.

He was nominated for these reasons:
He has a 4.0 GPA, is near the top of his class, and is earning college credits
He is a captain in play production a Senior Patrol Leader in Scouts, and consistently steps into leadership roles and helps others succeed
He shows kindness and respect to classmates and staff
He participates in a variety of activities around the school and community

William and Theresa are invited to stop by one of our clinics in Louisville or Plattsmouth, or email (dan@wittephysicaltherapy.com) to claim their Witte Physical Therapy swag! A Student of the Week award will be delivered to their school!

The next Student of the Week winner will be announced in early January 2026!

ELMWOOD-MURDOCK PUBLIC SCHOOLS
IS ADVERTISING FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS:

SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVERS / ACTIVITY BUS DRIVERS

The school district will pay the costs associated with you obtaining the required CDL with a school bus and passenger bus permit, and will pay for all classes associated with driving a school bus, as long as you complete all requirements. The school district will also pay an hourly wage for the time associated with obtaining your CDL. Payment will take place after a designated amount of time driving for the school district.

PARA-PROFESSIONAL POSITIONS:
Full-Time Special Education Para-Professionals at the elementary school (we are
looking to hire TWO additional staff members to support our students and
teachers).
Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour
Benefits: Employee Health Insurance paid by the District, State Retirement,
Sick/Personal Leave Provisions
Work schedule follows the school calendar
Start Date: As soon as possible

I am sad to say that Stephanie with the Bess Streeter Aldrich Foundation will be moving to Washington State. She has been a wonderful addition to the community and many of us will miss her. If you see her give her good wishes on their new journey. Just like Mrs. Aldrich, they are looking forward to adventures on the eastern frontier.
