 Congratulations "Rick" Clements

Richard "Rick" Clements has built an extraordinary career defined by professional excellence, family legacy, and long-standing service to his community.

A 1973 Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Rick earned degrees in Mathematics and Actuarial Science before completing his law degree in 1975. He was admitted to practice law in Nebraska in January 1976.

That same month, Rick began a dual career--joining his father's law firm in Elmwood, Nebraska, where he has practiced for 50 years, and being elected Assistant Cashier of American Exchange Bank. Representing the fourth generation of his family's involvement with the bank since 1909, Rick became President in 1985 following his father, Dwight's retirement. His twin brother, Rob, joined the bank in 1978, continuing the strong family tradition.

Rick 50 Year Banker Award

In addition to his legal and banking careers, Rick has served as an active real estate broker in Elmwood since 1976. Now serving as Executive Vice-President and transitioning into retirement, Rick has helped ensure a smooth succession, with the next generation of the Clements family assuming leadership. Rick's legacy reflects a lifetime of dedication to his profession, his family, and the Elmwood community. Rick and his wife, Mickie, have 2 children and 5 grandchildren. Their son, Aaron Clements, has ably assumed Rick's bank lending and management duties.

 NEWSLETTER SUBMISSIONS

Did you know that the initial concept of this online town newsletter, more than 25 years ago, was supposed to be based
around READER SUBMISSIONS!
Submit your news to editor@elmwoodnebraska.com for added exposure for your event or activity.
Remember, not everyone has Facebook. Really, they don't. ...AND Facebook doesn't show all the content from community groups.
By subscribing on your phone, you will receive a TEXT every Wednesday and an easy-to-access link.
Many rely on the weekly Wednesday text message that links directly to the website.
Since our Elmwood website is updated every week Google visited by 100s of people per week, and search engines rank this site number ONE on Google. Normally, Wikipedia, map-quest, or city-data come up first. But not with Elmwood, our website is the NUMBER ONE Google result!
